“Touch a life, while spreading the joy and goodness of the Lord.”

Earl Williams was born and raised in Washington, DC. He began developing his musical skills in church at the age of 12. He sang with the youth choir and it was there he learned to appreciate music and aspired to write songs. With his musical roots firmly planted in gospel, it was his elder brothers who exposed him to another world of R&B, Jazz, & Pop music.

In high school, he joined the choral choir and learned to appreciate other styles of music including classical. After graduating high school he began singing with a community choir (The Voices of Trinity). They performed at programs and concerts throughout the greater Washington D.C. Metropolitan area. He performed for a time with two other groups in the area. For 30+ years, He has sung with Praise & Worship teams in his local church as well as solo performances.

In December of 2003, Earl helped to found Building Hope Inc. alongside his wife (Coressa) of 35 years. Building Hope Inc. is a non-profit organization originally founded to assist single mothers and children whom have encountered financial hardships, burdens, crises, etc. This ministry became an extension of his musical career and is the inspiration for the title of his debut CD “Never Been Loved”.

“God never intended for anyone to be without necessary things in life; one of those necessities being a solid, fundamental, and personal, relationship with Jesus Christ.” His inspiration comes from God which has allowed him to launch his solo career over the past several years. His unchanging desire to sing the gospel so that whoever hears it will first feel the love of Christ, then ultimately be drawn to God.

As of current, Earl is continuing to work on new music while ministering regularly in Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, and North Carolina Areas as well as the Eastern Coast of the United States.

Earl's passion in life is to spread the word and knowledge of God, while ministering through his music. With years of experience in Music Ministry, his single "GR8" (pronounced "Great") captures the authenticity behind this passion. Its inspiration comes directly from the 53rd Chapter of the book of Isiah which specifies the importance of Christ, and his immense greatness. His hope is to touch a life, while spreading the joy and goodness of the Lord.
